Where can I find articles about controversial issues?

Browse hot topics in the databases CQ Researcher (part of the CQ Press Electronic Library) and Opposing Viewpoints. They both have articles on current controversial issues with pro/con viewpoints.
The website ProCon.org also has info on controversial topics.
Finding the Databases
You'll find links to both CQ Researcher and Opposing Viewpoints databases in our Search UM Libraries box on the Libraries home page.
Click on the Search Databases link:
You can either type the database name in the search box under the "Database Search" heading or scroll "Most Used Databases" where you will have a drop down of the names of popular databases.
From the dropdown, select CQ Press Electronic Library or Opposing Viewpoints.
You'll be taken to the database search page where you can browse issues and topics:
Opposing Viewpoints
Scroll down to the "Browse Issues" heading for lists of controversial issues by topic.
CQ Researcher
In CQ Press Electronic Library, click the link to "CQ Researcher Plus Archive" under the "Browse all your resources" heading.
Then in CQ Researcher, go to the "Browse Reports" option in the navigation menu and then click "Hop Topics." This will take you to a list of reports on the most controversial topics in CQ Researcher.
