What is Library Lookup?

  • Zotero's Library Lookup feature will search to see if we have access to one of your saved citations in our University of Memphis library collections.
  • If the source is not in our collection, Library Lookup will automatically redirect you to interlibrary loan to get a copy.
  • Library Lookup only works in the Zotero desktop app.

How do I use Library Lookup?

  1. Select a citation in your Zotero library.
  2. Above the right pane, find and click the Locate Menu. This menu is a green arrow icon pointing right.
  3. Select "Library Lookup" in the Locate Menu.
  4. Zotero will open a new tab in your browser with access to the source or a link to interlibrary loan.

How do I set up Library Lookup with the University of Memphis's library collections?

  1. Go to the top navigation menu in Zotero.
  2. Select "Edit" and then "Preferences."
  3. A new window will open. Select the "Advanced" tab.
  4. In "Advanced," go to the heading "OpenURL." Select "Custom" in the drop-down menu.
  5. In the box below the menu labeled "Resolver," copy and past this text:
    https://ezproxy.memphis.edu:3443/login?url=https://resolver.ebscohost.com/openurl?
  6. Click OK. The Library Lookup will now search our collection.
