How do I get access to UpToDate?

1. Start on the UM Health Sciences Library homepage.
2. Under E-Resources, click on Search - UpToDate (memphis.edu).
3. Create an account in UpToDate under Register. 

OR

1. Start on the University Libraries homepage. 
2. Underneath the main Search box, click Database Search.
3. Enter "UpToDate" in the Database Search box at the top and Submit Search.
4. On the UpToDate catalog record, next to Resource Home, click on UpToDate.
5. Create an account in UpToDate under Register.   

What about the mobile app? 

  Once you create an account following the steps above, you'll have access to the mobile app. 


My UpToDate mobile app says I need to reverify my affiliation. How do I do that?

  First, this must be done:

1. from within the University Libraries system;
2. from a website, not through your mobile app.

Follow the "how do I get access" steps above and instead of Registering, Log in. Logging in through the University Libraries system every 3 months will keep your UpToDate account active. Watch for reminder emails from UpToDate.
