Government documents use the Superintendent of Documents (SuDocs) classification system. SuDocs call numbers are issued by the Superintendent of Documents of the U.S. Government Printing Office to all official government publications. In this system materials are arranged by issuing agency, not by subject.

For more information on the SuDoc System go to our Government Publications guide or view this video from the University of Central Oklahoma.
