Q. I need to access Preservation and Special Collections. Where are they and when are they open?

Our Preservation and Special Collections department is located on the 4th floor of the McWherter Library in Room 404. They are accessible by appointment only.

If you need to visit in person, please make an appointment and allow for 24 hour notice. You can make an appointment via email at specialcollections@memphis.edu or by calling 901.678.2210 during their business hours, 8AM-4:30PM Monday through Friday. If you need an appointment for Monday, the request must reach the department by the end of the business day on the previous Friday.
