Most items placed on reserve can be checked out. Loan periods are decided by the faculty member who puts the item on reserve. You can look up a reserve item's loan period here. Common check-out times are: 2-hour (must be used in the library), 4-hour, 24-hour (can be used overnight, but must be returned by 5:30pm the following day), 3-day, and 7-day.

All users accumulate fines for items not returned by the specified due date and time. There is no grace period for reserve items, and overdue fines for reserve items are high to encourage their prompt return. For more info, visit our Check-Out Guidelines page
