Four wireless networks are available for use:

  • um – Primary wireless network for use by UofM students, faculty, and staff.
  • um-guest – Temporary access for campus visitors that requires sign-in every 24 hours.
  • um-devices – For gaming systems in Residence Life or student housing.
  • eduroam – Visitors to UofM whose home institutions participate in Eduroam can connect to this network using credentials from their home institution.

Students, staff, and faculty should connect their smart phones, tablets, and computers to the um wireless network using their individual UUID and password.

For help or more details, view IT's wireless network information page or contact Information Technology Services

IT Student Assistants in McWherter Library are available to assist you at the Research Assistance Desk, to your right as you enter.
