Most of our play scripts can be found HERE

To use the library catalog to search for plays:

From the Libraries' home page, click on Classic Catalog

This takes you to the Catalog Classic Basic Search page:

If a play has been published as a single volume, script or book (e.g., August: Osage County),
Type the title of the play in the search box, and select Title from the dropdown menu:

If a play has a very common title (e.g., Art by Yasmina Reza), use Advanced Search:

Type the name of the play in the first search box (change field to "Title") and the author's name in the second search box (change field to "Author"):

To search for a play on a particular topic:

Use Advanced Search in the library catalog. Type a keyword that describes your topic or subject on the first line, like "families" or "sisters" or "Asian American."  Type "drama" in the second search box ( Play scripts may or may not include the word "play" in their title or subject descriptions).  Many plays (but not all!) do include the word "drama" in their subject descriptions:

Your results will NOT be comprehensive, but should give you a place to start.
