There are several ways to find ethnologies/ethnographies in the U of M Libraries.

1.  Search the catalog:
From the Libraries' homepage, click on Classic Catalog (in the Search
     UMLibraries search box):

On the Catalog Classic Basic Search page:

  • Search by title: Case Studies in Cultural Anthropology
  • Search by subject: Ethnology - (name of country)  e.g.  Ethnology - Brazil
  • Search by keyword: name of cultural group you're interested in: Caboclos

  • Or, click on Advanced Search on the left side of the Basic Search page:

To search using more than one search term:

2.  You can also search our Research Guide on Ethnographies & Ethnologies,
which provides an in-depth look at ethnography resources by subject and
includes encyclopedias from our Reference Collection

3.  If you still need help, call or stop by the RIS Desk in the Learning Commons
     of McWherter Library - (901) 678-2208
